Law of the Republic of Belarus, May 7, 2021 No. 99-З "On the protection of personal data", Adopted by the House of Representatives on April 2, 2021, Approved by the Council of the Republic on April 21, 2021

Hereby, the Republican Scientific Research Unitary Enterprise "Institute of Biochemistry of Biologically Active Compounds of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) undertakes to protect and ensure the confidentiality of information obtained during the processing of personal and digital data.

The Institute establishes the rules and requirements on the basis of which the Institute will process personal and digital data collected about you as a visitor (when visiting the Institute, website).

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THE INSTITUTE

The Institute processes personal data on a legal basis to achieve the set goals, including for the provision of services and the transfer of final information to the Owner of personal data/information (client, partner, customer, hereinafter referred to as the Owner)

The owner of personal data transfers his/her data to the Institute as follows:

- when transferring "References for research" with samples;

- when filling out the forms posted on the website;

- handing over an identity document to an employee of the Institute;

- in the course of communication with an employee of the Institute by phone (recording the conversation), mail, e-mail or otherwise;

- at the conclusion of contracts with the Institute.

Information that the Institute's systems collect about you automatically:

- when you visit a website, the website automatically collects certain information about you and your visit, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet, and other information such as your browser type and version, and pages on the website you are visiting;

PROCESSING, USE OF INFORMATION

The Institute processes personal data in automated and non-automated ways, with and without the use of computer technology.

Actions for the processing of personal data include the receipt, collection, processing, accumulation, storage and use.

The Institute may process and use your confidential information for:

- ensuring the operation of the Institute's systems (personal data is used to place orders, exchange information with equipment, receive applications and applications, send research results and information about research procedures).

The Institute may only use your personal data if it is necessary for the purposes described above. If you are not sure that the information we are requesting from you is necessary for the Institute, please contact the representative of the Institute for clarification.

STORAGE AND DELETION OF INFORMATION

The Institute ensures the protection, accuracy and relevance of your personal data and deletes (or anonymizes) the stored information about you in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.

RIGHTS

You have the right:

- access to your information stored by the Institute and to any related information in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus;

- to clarify (change) personal data if they are incomplete, outdated, inaccurate;

- to withdraw this consent to the processing of personal data;

- to protect their rights and legitimate interests in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus;

- to appeal against the actions or inaction of the Institute to the authorized body for the protection of consumer rights or in court.

To exercise your rights and legitimate interests, you have the right to apply to the Institute in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
